To clarify - as a punter with no WW2 games in Jan, Feb or April, two games in March would look rather odd, not to say CiA and PBI competing. Clearly not the intention but to an outsider....

Yeah well i totally see that.

Any game in Jan or Feb would best be an urban game i'd have thought to capitalise on artificial lighting (that and the previous two game swil have been woodland bashs)

I'm just thinking of available gaming light.

If you get a 10 oclock start with the best organisation you still have to close at 3 or play in the dark.

Aye, it's 30th March

But I can never remember what it means - is it lighter or darker at the end of the day when clocks go forward?

Off topic - I hugely enjoy annoying the tits off my wife by refusing to alter my watch / car / clocks out of reach. Meh, they will be right in six months so why bother?

Even a stopped clock is right twice a day...

Which is good for varsity! Though we'll have to remind players that they'll have to get up an hour earlier than they'd expect!

Here's an online program that does the same thing:

Been thinking about having two games in the month. My initial thoughts were that it might appear 'all or nothing' or that we were competing.

However, I think we can put a very positive spin on it.

March is WW2 month! Having two different geographical locations gives players an element of convienience if they have to choose one or the other. There are players who can cover two out of three sides - as there will be limited places for both games then those not able to get a place will have a second choice.

And I'm 100% certain we can fill both games anyway so neither CiA nor PBI will suffer unfilled places.

OK, so are we going for two games in March then, with the Tuddenham game (working title Operation Cobra) on 1/2 March?

We need ot chat to Josh , he has confirmed that as beingthe date . He also told me how he's started promoting it ....I'm not sure I want another joint promotion TBH, but we can iron this out at DDay .

More of a reason to keep the booking ot the regulars here and in small numbers.

No, I am with you there - we are renting his site for the benefit of our players with restricted numbers. Don't need Josh's help on this!

Hmmm, might have to order this - could this be the game title?

Er , when are we launching the publicity for this , looks like Varsity is set to go shortly ? Not a race, assumed we're still looking at post DDay. ?

Makes sense but we should definitely announce together for the whole 'March is WW2 Airsoft month' thing to work well.
